The Kansas State Wildcats are ranked 25th in our Top 25 Portal Classes. This past season the Wildcats went 32-26 with their season ending in the Austin Regional against Texas. They’ve picked up a lot of talent this offseason including three Top 250 portal players. Let’s take a look at some of the new transfers joining this Kansas State squad.

First we have ETSU transfer Grant Gallagher. Grant checks in at #141 in our portal rankings for 2025. Prior to ETSU Grant spent two seasons at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida where in 98 games he hit .242 picking up 73 hits, 24 doubles and nine home runs. He then joined the Buccaneers of ETSU primarily as a third basemen for his junior season and hit .276 with 20 home runs and 49 RBI. He ended up finishing this past season tied for the D1 lead with 66 walks.

Cohen Feser is transferring in from TCU after making 18 appearances out of the bullpen for the Frogs last season as a redshirt junior. He posted a 4.97 ERA with 22 strikeouts in 25 1/3 innings of work. He missed the 2024 season due to injury however his sophomore season he made 20 appearances out of the bullpen and held a 2.56 ERA with 28 strikeouts across 31 2/3 innings pitched. Cohen is our #163 ranked player in the portal.

Next up on our list is third baseman Carlos Vasquez transferring in by way of Western Kentucky where last season for the Tops he hit .366 while collecting an insane 22 doubles and mashing 5 home runs. On top of that he only struck out 27 times in 235 at bats. Prior to his time at WKU he played at Wallace-Dothan CC, where he casually hit .430 with 20 doubles, five triples, and three home runs. While mainly holding things down at the hot corner, Carlos also picked up starts at first base, second base, and left field, so there are a lot of options of where his bat will fit into this line up. He is our #190 ranked player in the portal.

Moving along to prospect #336 in our portal rankings we have Aaron Arnold coming to Kansas State from Wichita State, where last season for the Shockers he held a 5.92 ERA in 38.0 innings pitched in which he struck out 43 while only walking 15. Aaron makes for an uncomfortable at bat for anyone with a pulse, he has a fastball in the mid to upper 90’s, a slider and change up both in the mid 80’s, and a solid curveball to go with it.

Keeping focus on the pitching staff another arm to look out for will be UC Riverside transfer Matthew Flores, who last year as a junior held a 3.66 era in 39.1 innings pitched in which he collected 45 strikeouts. Over his two year career at Riverside he held a 5.02 ERA in 100.1 innings pitched, he struggled with walks his sophomore year with 29 but really got that under control as a junior cutting the total down to only 13. Matthew checks in at #447 in our portal rankings.

Another pitcher you will want to keep an eye on for the Wildcats this season is University of South Florida junior transfer Adan Longoria. Last season for the Bulls he held a 4.98 ERA in 21.2 innings pitched in which he struck out 21 batters. His fastball sits in the low 90’s, which he tunnels really well with a frisbee slider and sinking change up. While it may not be lighting up the radar gun his fastball definitely plays up in velocity coming from his funky low-3/4 slot. Adan is our #484 ranked player in the portal.

There are a ton of other great players joining the Wildcats ball club for the 2026 season and we look forward to getting a look at them over the next few weeks during Fall Ball!
